What is Rentazon?

Rentazon is an online technology platform that provides a rental marketplace for peer-to-peer sharing and business-to-customer rentals. Based in the Los Angeles area, Rentazon looks to expand to other metro markets before expanding globally.

How does Rentazon work?

We provide a community platform on which renters, owners and businesses can connect to facilitate regarding all items rentable. Owners and businesses are able to load their rental inventory onto our website, making them directly available for members to rent.

Is there a cost associated with using the Rentazon platform?

No. Rentazon is absolutely free for the renter to use. Simply create an account and get renting.

What are the benefits of renting?

Renting is a less expensive, greener alternative to in-store purchasing. It allows our members to limit their personal CO2 emissions, reducing your carbon footprint, and ensuring you don’t have to deal with that pesky issue of storage.

Is renting really cheaper than buying?

Our business partners/retailers set the prices and increments of their inventory. In most cases, yes, renting a product for a short period of time does end up being cheaper than buying it in-store.

How long can I keep an item I rent?

You are able to select your desired time period on our check-out page. Some of our retailers may limit item rentals to a few days, and some may not stipulate a limit.

I really like the item I rented, can I buy it to keep?

Some retailers may allow item purchasing. Contact your specific retailer for more individualized information.

What is the difference between a “Regular Account” and a “Business Account”?

They both do mostly the same thing, however, a Business Account is for rental businesses. Business accounts may be differentiated with a badge.

I am not a business owner, can I load my own items onto Rentazon?

Yes! With our MyStore feature, members can create their very own online rental store in their Regular Account from which to rent out personal items that they own. Simply click the “Create MyStore” button at the top right of the page and follow the instructions to set up your store and enjoy the benefits of our online POS/CRM system. Happy renting!.

What is a POS / CRM system?

POS / CRM is our point of sale / customer relationship management system. Our online community platform allows owners to track rental activity, calendar the availability of rental items, cashout profits and other features..

What kind of items can I rent?

You can rent pretty much anything that is in our Category List, both as an Owner or a Renter, however there may be limitations such as cars, boats, planes and guns.

Do you deliver?

Every owner is different. Please contact the owner for details..

How can I know the items I rent out will be returned in the same condition?

All members must follow our Rentazon Community Rules to ensure a fair rental experience..

What if an item is damaged?

Rentazon offers a damage waiver, please implement it to protect your items. Please refer to the Damage Waiver policy for more details..

What if an item is lost?

Renter is wholly responsible for the replacement of any lost items..

What areas are Rentazon available in?

Rentazon is an open platform in the United States. Users are not prohibited from loading rental items in their area. Rentazon started in Los Angeles and aims to expand our services to other regions. As Rentazon continues to grow, inventory on our community platform is determined by the users in their area, so spread the good news about our new online community website!.

How can I contact the Owner/Renter?

Our platform offers a messaging feature within the app to help with the initial conversation. After an item is rented, the owner's contact information will appear.
